Kürnbach - About two-thirds of Kürnbach was part of Hessen, and one third part of Württemberg, for over 600 years. Then in 1810, the part that was part of Württemberg was given to Baden, while the remainder stayed part of Hessen until 1905, when all of Kürnbach became part of Baden. The Evangelische Kirche in Kürnbach was in the part of the town that as part of Württemberg. Depending on where or when people may have been born in the town, their birthplace could be correctly recorded as Kürnbach, Hessen; or Kürnbach, Württemberg; or Kürnbach, Baden. The LDS lists the town under Kürnbach, Baden.
